Description

 V V Malvankar  was a Bombay based artist who painted in a unique individualized style by composing figures with his finger prints amidst a watercolor washed background. He created imaginary Indianized landscapes comprising figures in a cavalcade, floating in the composition. One can also see influences of folk and tribal art in his work.
