Jayant Sidhpura was a Mumbai based artist and graphics designer. He obtained his Diploma from the Sir J. J. School of Art. His visual language was inspired by traditional Indian painting. His subjects were mainly rural folk going about their daily lives which he often depicted from an aerial perspective. In the 1960’s, along with B. Prabha, images of several of his artworks were used by Air India in their leaflets, in-flight menu cards, greeting cards,etc.
